PiXel8® Radiofrequency Microneedling device uses special needles that deliver radio frequency energy into different layers of your skin, putting heat far down into the layers of the epidermis and dermis. This heat energy stimulates new collagen making cells to produce brand new collagen. The combination of the heat from radio frequency as well as the regenerative effects of microneedling enhance results that could not be achieved with either treatment alone. The microneedles are designed to precisely deliver the pulse towards the dermis tissues.

As with all medical procedures, a consultation and examination are necessary prior to PiXel8® RF/MN. For comfort, a topical anesthetic cream is applied over the area to be treated at least 60 minutes prior to the procedure and then removed and the skin is cleansed. During the procedure the device handpiece is passed over the skin. The fine needles penetrate the skin and the RF energy is delivered once the needles reach the desired depth (each pulse is less than 1 second). The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes to complete but will vary depending on the area/s being treated. Immediately following treatment your skin will feel like a mild sunburn.
Over the following day(s) there may be mild redness and swelling. Bruising is possible depending on settings and is most likely around the eyes and mouth.
1 day after the treatment there could be redness and increased swelling.
2 weeks post treatment your skin tone will be brighter and more even.
If you have oily skin, you will notice significant reduction in sebum production. 1 month post treatment you will notice improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity, pore size, scars, and overall complexion. 1–3-month post treatment you will notice continuous improvement in wrinkles reduction and skin laxity. Collagen production has improved and you can notice the fullness and plumpness of your skin. A series of 3-5 sessions scheduled 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results.
For best results, PiXel8® can be combined with other treatments such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) to enhance results & reduce downtime. This facial rejuvenation treatment makes use of your own platelets (a blood component) to stimulate collagen production.
